| To remove | 
| 1. | Raise the car. | |
| 2. | Undo the nuts on the exhaust pipe clamp (A). 
   | ||||||||||
| 3. | Remove the rubber mountings (B). | |
| 4. | Suspend the rear exhaust pipe with
        
         83 95 212 Strap
        
        (C) and remove the rubber mounting (D).   | |
| 5. | Remove the nuts (E) of the front catalytic converter.   | |
| 6. | Lower the exhaust system slightly and remove the front pipe complete with catalytic converter. | |
| To fit | 
| 1. | Fit the front pipe complete with catalytic converter. | |
| 2. | Fit the flange with new gasket and new nuts (E) to the front catalytic converter. Tightening torque 30 Nm (22 lbf ft) | |
| 3. | Fit the rubber mountings (B). Replace rubber mountings if necessary.   | |
| 4. | Tighten the clamp nut (A). Tightening torque 40 Nm (30 lbf ft). | |
| 5. | Slacken 83 95 212 Strap (C) and fit the rubber mounting (D).   | |
| 6. | Lower the car. | |
| 7. | Connect exhaust hoses and start the engine. Check that the exhaust system does not leak. | |
