| 1. | Remove the
        
         Complete exhaust system, 4WD

| 2. | Cut the exhaust pipes to the specified dimension, 70 mm. Cut the pipes at right angles. Use
        
         83 95 667 Pipe cutter/exhaust system

| To fit | 
| 1. | Clean the cut to remove burrs and dirt. | |
| 2. | Grind away rust from the silencers' pipe with emery cloth. | |
| 3. | Fit the centre rear silencer to the rear catalytic converter (A) and fit the bracket (B).   | |
| 4. | Fit the rear silencers with the jointing clamps (A) (use mounting paste) (turn the clamps' opening forward and the nuts down) and new rubber mountings (B).   | |
| 5. | Fit the anti-roll bar. Tightening torque 30 Nm (23 lbf ft) | |
| 6. | Adjust the centre and rear silencers so that they are hanging neutrally. The centre silencer should hang alongside the anti-roll bar. | |
| 7. | For variants with visible tail pipes:
        
        Check that the tail pipes are in the centre of the recess in the bumper and flush with the bumper's profile. | |
| 8. | Tighten the nuts on the clamp. Tightening torque 40 Nm (30 lbf ft). | |
| 9. | Firmly tighten the clamp between rear catalytic converter and exhaust system. Tightening torque 40 Nm (30 lbf ft). | |
| 10. | Lower the car. | |
| 11. | Connect an exhaust hose and start the engine. Check the exhaust system for leaks. | |
