Carbon canister, 4WD

/ 9-3 (9440) / 2008 / 2. Engine / V6 petrol / Fuel system / Adjustment/replacement / Carbon canister, 4WD

To remove

1.	Raise the car.

2.	Remove the left-hand protective cover (A).

3.	Relieve the load on the left side of the fuel tank using a column jack.

4.	Remove the bolt (A) securing the left tank strap.

5.	Lower the left side of the fuel tank slightly.

6.	Press in the catch (D) and lift up the carbon canister.

7.	Unplug the connector (A) and detach the two hoses (B) and (C). Lower the carbon canister.

To fit

1.	Raise the carbon canister, plug in the connector (A) and attach the two hoses (B) and (C).

2.	Fit the carbon canister. Press until it snaps into the catch (D).

3.	Lift up the fuel tank.

4.	Fit the tank strap (A). Tightening torque 30 Nm

5.	Lower and move aside the column jack.

6.	Fit the protective cover (A).

7.	Lower the car.
