To remove

1.	Remove the battery .

2.	Remove the battery's air inlet pipe.

3.	Press in the catch and bend away the electrical centre in front of the battery.

4.	Remove the fuse holder locking plate and remove the fuse holder.

5.	Undo the catches on the cable duct from the radiation protection.

6.	Cars with theft protection: Detach the bonnet switch from the battery cover.

7.	Remove the bottom of the battery cover.

To fit

1.	Fit the bottom of the battery cover, making sure the positive cable lies in the cable duct.

2.	Fit the bottom of the battery cover. Tightening torque 24 Nm (18 lbf ft)

3.	Cars with theft protection: Fit the bonnet switch to the battery cover.

4.	Fit the fuse holder.

5.	Fit the cable duct onto the radiation protection

6.	Fit the electrical centre.

7.	Fit the battery's air inlet pipe.

8.	Fit the battery .
