| It is very important to observe maximum cleanliness when working on the differential clutch. Dirt particles can seriously damage the function and service life of the differential clutch. | ||
| To remove | 
| 1. | Remove
        
         complete unit, differential clutch and limited slip differential
        
        . | |
| 2. | Cars with limited slip differential clutch: Remove the hydraulic pipes (A) fit tool
        
         DT-49132
        
        (B). Turn the tool (C) slightly and pull the pipe out from the quick-release coupling.   | |
| 3. | Cars with limited slip differential clutch: Remove the clips for the wiring harness. | |
| 4. | Remove the bolts (A) to the differential clutch.   | |
| 5. | Remove the differential clutch. | |
| To fit | 
| 1. | Fit the differential clutch. Tighten the bolts (A). Tightening torque: 30 Nm (22 lbf ft)   | |
| 2. | Cars with limited slip differential clutch: Fit the clips for the wiring harness. | |
| 3. | Cars with limited slip differential clutch: Fit the hydraulic pipes (A) to the quick-release couplings and check that the pipes are fitted firmly.   | |
| 4. | Fill with fluid in the differential clutch in accordance with
        
         Fluid capacity and grade of fluid
        
        . | |
| 5. | Fit
        
         complete unit, differential clutch and limited slip differential
