| To remove | 
| 1. | Raise the car. | |
| 2. | Relieve the weight on the lower suspension arm using an pillar jack. | |
| 3. | Remove the bolt (A) securing the shock absorber to the body and slacken the bolts (B) a few turns.   | |
| 4. | Remove the bolt (A) holding the shock absorber to the steering swivel member and lift away the shock absorber.   | |
| 5. | Remove the bracket (A) with bush and bump stop (B) with protective sleeve from the shock absorber.   | |
| To fit | 
| 1. | Fit the bump stop (B) with protective sleeve and bracket (A) with bush to the shock absorber. Tightening torque 27 Nm (20 lbf ft) | |
| 2. | Lift up and fit the shock absorber (A) to the steering swivel member. Tightening torque 148 Nm +90°(109 lbf ft +90°)   | |
| 3. | Fit the bolt (A) to the shock absorber bracket. Tighten bolts (A) and (B). Tightening torque 53 Nm (39 lbf ft)   | |
| 4. | Lower the car to the floor. | |
