SYMPTOM DESCRIPTION

Oil leak at the hose connections.

ACTION

1. Prepare the cylinder for fitting. Remove retaining clips and extract the blind plug with a pair of pliers.

2. Check the connection bore profile on the cylinder, if all the o-rings from the blind plugs are removed, if not remove these with a not sharp pin (E).

3. Check hydraulic lines inclusive o-rings on cleanliness and damage. Exchange the o-rings if damaged or have suspected damage.

4. Mount the o-ring on the hose elbow (F) and push the elbow in a straight line into the cylinder.

5. Slide the hydraulic line retaining clips in the locked position (G).

6. Fit the hydraulic cylinder into the roof mechanism.

7. Connect the electric connector.

8. Close the manual release spindle and check the oil level, top up if needed.

9. The system is a closed system and will self-bleed in normal use. Make 3 complete cycles and check the function. Make sure that there are no oil leaks.

10. Check the oil level and top up if needed.
