On-board diagnosis
Type of diagnosis:
Enable criteria:
| Coolant or intake air temperature must be lower than -7°C. |
| No engine heater used for this start. |
| NONE of the following DTCs must be detected: |
| Car speed above 140 km/h for 5 minutes interrupts the diagnosis. |
Fault criteria:
| Coolant sensor value has become fixed under +5°C during a cold start under -7°C. |

| Obsolete or broken sensor that no longer reacts to temperature change. |
