Drive for auxiliaries
Belt circuit
The engines have only one belt circuit for driving the generator and AC compressor. The belt circuit has an automatic and self-adjusting belt tensioner for simple service and long life. The belt tensioner comprises a powerful spring that affects the belt tension via a belt pulley.
Belt tensioner
The belt tensioner on the slack side of the tooth belt is dynamic and adjustable. After adjusting the belt tension it keeps the belt taut continuously and compensates for any belt wear. There are also two adjuster rollers in the belt circuit.
