To remove |
1. |
Undo the cap on the expansion tank and release the pressure.

Raise the car.
|
3. |
Undo the right-hand side of the spoiler shield.
|
4. |
Place a receptacle under the car, connect a hose and drain the cooling system.
|
5. |
Lower the car.
|
6. |
Remove the upper engine cover.
|
7. |
Detach the bleeder hose and the turbocharger cooling return hose from the expansion tank.
|
8. |
Unplug the upper connector of the engine control module.
|
9. |
Unplug the atmospheric pressure sensor connector (539).
|
10. |
Detach and move aside the cable duct.
|
11. |
Detach and move aside the plate bracket from the intake manifold.
|
12. |
Detach the coolant hose with quick coupling from the expansion tank.
|
13. |
Move up the expansion tank and unplug the level sensor connector.
|
14. |
Remove the expansion tank.

To fit |
1. |
Plug in the level sensor connector and fit the expansion tank.
|
2. |
Attach the coolant hose with quick coupling to the expansion tank.
|
3. |
Fit the plate bracket to the intake manifold.
|
4. |
Fit the cable duct.
|
5. |
Plug in the atmospheric pressure sensor connector (539).
|
6. |
Plug in the upper connector of the engine control module.
|
7. |
Attach the bleeder hose and turbocharger cooling return hose to the expansion tank.
|
8. |
Fit the upper engine cover.
|
9. |
Carry out
Cooling system, pressure testing

Replace the upper engine cover.

Fit the right-hand side of the spoiler shield.
