To remove |

Remove
Upper radiator member, B284
.

Remove
Battery

Remove the
Battery cover, lower section
|
4. |
Remove the mass air flow sensor connector.
|
5. |
Detach the secondary air injection pipe, delivery hose from the turbocharger intake manifold and crankcase ventilation pipe.
|
6. |
Detach the turbocharger intake manifold from the air cleaner casing cover and the turbocharger.
|
7. |
Remove the bolts holding the bypass valve to the turbocharger. Move the valve aside.
|
8. |
Remove the bolt of the lower turbocharger delivery pipe.
|
9. |
Remove the fan cowling bolts.
|

Aut:
Detach the upper connection to the radiator and move the pipe aside. Use
87 92 806 Removal tool, automatic transmission oil pipes
.

11. |
Unplug the radiator fan connectors and detach the wiring harness from the fan cowling.
|
12. |
Remove the fan cowling.
|
To fit |
1. |
Position the fan cowling.
|
2. |
Fit the fan cowling bolts.
|
3. |
Fit the bolt of the lower turbocharger delivery pipe.
|
4. |
Aut:
Attach the upper pipe to the radiator.
|
5. |
Plug in the radiator fan connectors and fit the wiring harness on the fan cowling.
|
6. |
Fit the bypass valve.
|
7. |
Attach the turbocharger intake manifold to the turbocharger and the air cleaner casing cover.
|
8. |
Attach the secondary air injection pipe, delivery hose from the turbocharger intake manifold and crankcase ventilation pipe.
|
9. |
Fit the mass air flow sensor connector.
|
