Light setting, fog lights

1.
|
Check that all tyres have the correct air pressure.
|
2.
|
Check that there is no load in the car.
|
3.
|
Check fuel quantity. Compensate with load in the luggage compartment:
half tank - 25 kg; empty tank - 50 kg
|
4.
|
One person or a 75 kg load should be in the driver's seat.
|
5.
|
The car should be free from snow and ice.
|
6.
|
Park the car on a flat surface.
|
7.
|
Stabilise the suspension by rocking the car.
|
8.
|
Check the mounting of the bulb in the headlamp.
|
9.
|
Switch on the ignition.
|
Light setting against a wall
|
1.
|
Park the car 10 m (32.8 ft) from the wall (A).
|
2.
|
Measure from the ground to the centre of the fog light lens (B), subtract 20 cm (0.66 ft) and note the measurement.
Note
|
Fog lights should be set with a 2% downward angle (20 cm (0.66 ft) at 10 m).
|

3.
|
Measure B - 20 cm (0.66 ft) and draw a horizontal line on the wall the same width as the car.
|
4.
|
Switch on the fog lights.
|
5.
|
Screen off the fog light not being set.
|
6.
|
Use the adjuster screw (C) to adjust the light image vertically until the image's baseline matches the horizontal line on the wall.
|
7.
|
Perform points 5 and 6 for the other front fog light.
|

|

|
Adjust the light image vertically using the adjuster screw (C).
