Before replacing a control module the normal fault diagnosis in accordance with WIS must be carried out, and the
Checklist for replacement of control module/electrical centre, UEC
must have been worked through.
Carry out
procedures before removing a control module.

Remove the battery cover.
|
2.
|
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
|
3.
|
Remove the main fuse box cover.
|
4.
|
Remove the retaining bolts of the connectors.
|
5.
|
Remove the retaining bolts of the main fuse box.
|
6.
|
Remove the nut of the positive cable connection and cut off the cable tie.
|
7.
|
Detach the main fuse box from the connectors by pressing down on the connector screws.
|
8.
|
Lift out the main fuse box.
|

|
Position the connectors in their holders.
|
2.
|
Press the main fuse box into the connectors.
|
3.
|
Fit the positive cable connection and secure it with a cable tie.
|
4.
|
Fit the main fuse box retaining bolts.
|
5.
|
Fit the connector retaining bolts.
|
6.
|
Fit the main fuse box cover.
|
7.
|
Connect the negative cable of the battery.
|
8.
|
Fit the battery cover.
|
