Limited slip differential clutch

Limited slip differential clutch

Warning

The hydraulic pressure in the differential clutch is very high. Wait for at least 10 minutes before removing any parts from the differential clutch.


To remove


1. Remove complete unit, differential clutch and limited slip differential .

2. Remove the hydraulic pipes (A) fit tool DT-49132 (B). Turn the tool (C) slightly and pull the pipe out from the quick-release coupling.


3. Remove the electrical connection, limited slip differential clutch.

4. Remove the bolts (A) to the limited slip differential clutch.


5. Carefully remove the limited slip differential clutch unit.


To fit


1. Fit the limited slip differential clutch unit with a new seal. Tighten the bolts (A).

Tightening torque: 30 Nm (22 lbf ft)


2. Fit the electrical connection, limited slip differential clutch.

3. Fit the hydraulic pipes (A) to the quick-release couplings and check that the pipes are fitted firmly.


4. Fit complete unit, differential clutch and limited slip differential .
