| Bootlid lock, CV | 
| To remove | 
| 1. | Open the bootlid and remove the trim.   | |
| 2. | Remove the lock cover by inserting a screwdriver and undoing the catches. | |
| 3. | Remove the lock's screws   | |
| 4. | Cars with guard
        
        : Lift out the guard, which is secured with the lower screw. | |
| 5. | Remove the lock cylinder nuts. Remove the cylinder cover. Unhook the cable. | |
| 6. | Lift out the lock.   | |
| 7. | Unplug the connector. | |
| 8. | US/CA
        
        : Remove the cable for the emergency opening handle from the bracket. | |
| To fit | 
| 1. | US/CA
        
        : Fit the cable for the emergency opening handle in the bracket.   | |
| 2. | Plug in the connector. | |
| 3. | Put the lock in place. | |
| 4. | Hook on the lock cylinder cable. Fit the lock cylinder cover. Fit the nuts.   | |
| 5. | Cars with guard
        
        : Fit the guard. | |
| 6. | Fit the lock's screws. | |
| 7. | Fit the lock cover. Make sure the clips engage properly.   | |
| 8. | Fit the boot lid trim. | |
