Bootlid lock, CV

To remove

1.	Open the bootlid and remove the trim.

2.	Remove the lock cover by inserting a screwdriver and undoing the catches.

3.	Remove the lock's screws

4.	Cars with guard : Lift out the guard, which is secured with the lower screw.

5.	Remove the lock cylinder nuts. Remove the cylinder cover. Unhook the cable.

6.	Lift out the lock.

7.	Unplug the connector.

8.	US/CA : Remove the cable for the emergency opening handle from the bracket.

To fit

1.	US/CA : Fit the cable for the emergency opening handle in the bracket.

2.	Plug in the connector.

3.	Put the lock in place.

4.	Hook on the lock cylinder cable. Fit the lock cylinder cover. Fit the nuts.

5.	Cars with guard : Fit the guard.

6.	Fit the lock's screws.

7.	Fit the lock cover. Make sure the clips engage properly.

8.	Fit the boot lid trim.
