Coolant pump, Z19DT

To remove


1. Remove the timing belt .

2. Drain the coolant .

3. Remove the camshaft sprocket using 32 025 019 Holding tool, camshaft sprocket and 83 95 360 Holding tool, crankshaft pulley .

Note

Take care not to damage the camshaft position sensor.



4. Remove the camshaft position sensor.


5. Remove the coolant pump.


To fit


1. Clean the threads for the coolant pump and fit a new gasket.

2. Fit the coolant pump.

Tightening torque 25 Nm (18 lbf ft).


3. Fit the camshaft position sensor. Use 74 96 268 Thread locking adhesive

4. Fit the camshaft sprocket using 32 025 019 Holding tool, camshaft sprocket and 83 95 360 Holding tool, crankshaft pulley .

Note

Take care not to damage the camshaft position sensor.



5. Fill with coolant .

6. Fit the timing belt .
