Camshaft position sensor (555), Z19DT

To remove


1. Remove the timing belt .

2. Remove the camshaft sprocket using 32 025 019 Holding tool, camshaft sprocket and 83 95 360 Holding tool, crankshaft pulley .

Note

Take care not to damage the camshaft position sensor.



3. Remove the camshaft position sensor connector behind the high pressure pump.


4. Remove the camshaft position sensor.



To fit


1. Fit the camshaft position sensor. Use 74 96 268 Thread locking adhesive


2. Plug in the camshaft position sensor connector.


3. Fit the camshaft sprocket using 32 025 019 Holding tool, camshaft sprocket and 83 95 360 Holding tool, crankshaft pulley .

Tightening torque 120 Nm (89 lbf ft).

Note

Take care not to damage the camshaft position sensor.



4. Fit the timing belt .
