Check |
1. |
Let the engine idle for 60 seconds, in order for the oil to distribute. Switch off the engine.

2. |
Raise the car.
|
3. |
Remove the level plug (A).
|
4. |
Fill with oil up to the edge, use a clean funnel and hose, see
Fluid capacity and grade of fluid
.

5. |
Fit the level plug (A).
Tightening torque: 14 Nm (10.3 lbf ft) |
6. |
Lower the car to the floor.

Service |
1. |
Raise the car.
|
2. |
Remove the level plug (A).
|
3. |
Drain out 1.5 dl of oil using suitable oil drainage equipment.
|
4. |
Fill with oil up to the edge (approx 1.5 dl), use a clean funnel and hose, see
Fluid capacity and grade of fluid
.

5. |
Fit the level plug (A).
Tightening torque: 14 Nm (10.3 lbf ft) |
6. |
Lower the car to the floor.

Replacement |
1. |
Raise the car.
|
2. |
Remove the cover on the differential clutch according to
Cover, differential clutch, replacement
and drain the oil.
|
3. |
Fit the cover with a new gasket.
|
5. |
Fit the ventilation nipple (A) and ventilation hose to the nipple.
|
6. |
Lower the car to the floor.
|
7. |
Let the engine idle for 60 seconds, in order for the oil to distribute. Switch off the engine.

8. |
Raise the car.
|
9. |
Remove the level plug (A).
|
10. |
Check the oil level and top up the oil if necessary.
|
11. |
Fit the level plug (A).
Tightening torque: 14 Nm (10.3 lbf ft) |
12. |
Lower the car to the floor.
