BACKGROUND

The tailgate outer handle can chafe the paint which can lead to paint defects and/or blisters.

ACTION

Repair and repaint the tailgate required

To avoid repeat repair:

Check the tailgate outer handle does not chafe against the paint by using a piece of paper to check that there is clearance between the handle and the paint.


If the outer handle chafes against the paint carefully remove material on the handle with a file to ensure there is adequate clearance.
