| Replacing wires for lowering the passenger seat backrest | 
| To remove | 
| 1. | Lower the backrest. | |
| 2. | Remove the catch. Use a screwdriver to release the hook.   | |
| 3. | Remove the grommet for the lowering mechanism. | |
| 4. | Release the upholstery strip along the edges of the back of the backrest frame.   | |
| 5. | Fold up the rear side of the backrest. | |
| 6. | Release the lower mechanism's spring on each side.   | |
| 7. | Remove the wire on both sides. | |
| 8. | Remove the spring for the wire.   | |
| 9. | Remove the wire from its upper mounting.

| 10. | Remove the plastic sleeve of the grommet.   | |
| 11. | Remove the wire from the arm.   | |
| 12. | Remove the cable tie.   | |
| 13. | Lift away the wire. | |
| To fit | 
| 1. | Fit a new wire by threading it onto the opening arm. | |
| 2. | Place the wire in the groove on the opening arm.   | |
| 3. | Fit the wire in its mounting. | |
| 4. | Fit the spring.   | |
| 5. | Hook the wire in the lower opening mechanisms on each side of the seat and fit the springs.   | |
| 6. | Fit the grommet sleeve.   | |
| 7. | Fit the grommet. | |
| 8. | Fit the catch.   | |
| 9. | Fit the cable tie.   | |
| 10. | Fit the trim.   | |
