F0: Lists all control modules on the respective bus and sets the status ( Added, Not Equipped, OK, Missing)

F1: In order to facilitate fault diagnosis, control modules on the I-bus and P-bus contain fault counters that register each interruption in communication between the bus and control module. If only one control module registers an interruption, the fault is local and easy to locate; if there are several, check the wiring diagram to see how they are connected.

The counters stop at 255 and can be reset using Tech 2. Note that it is not uncommon to see a counter registering 255 in a car that has driven a longer distance.

F2: Tech 2 displays either "No Ring Break" or all O-bus systems from top to bottom in the direction of the light signals. An "x" indicates the location of the break. Never trust the results before you have run the diagnostics since an old value is stored. In order to run the diagnostics, see the description displayed in Tech 2.

F3: Fault diagnosis of intermittent bus problems. Tech 2 requests a continuous response from the control module and calculates the response time. A change in the response frequency indicates unstable communication.
