New service intervals |
This bulletin advises of new service intervals for certain components which have been introduced from and including model year 2007 due to technical changes in the car.

All markets apart from AU/NZ, TW (Z19DTH/Z19DTR) and KR (Z19DTR): Timing belt - the interval is now 150 000 km/90 000 miles or 10 years. AU/NZ, TW (Z19DTH/Z19DTR) and KR (Z19DTR): Timing belt - the interval is 120 000 km or 8 years. |

Timing belt, replacement - the interval is now 90 000 km/56 000 miles or 6 years. |

Saab 9-3 with engine alternative Z18XE, B207E, B207L, B207R
Drive belt - no replacement interval, only checking every 60 000 km/36 000 miles. |

Drive belt - the replacement interval is now 240 000 km/144 000 miles, no time interval. Check every 30 000 km/18 000 miles. - From and including Vehicle Identification Number 53510416, the fuel filter must be replaced every 60 000 km/36 000 miles (EU) or 40 000 km/24 000 miles (non-EU). Does not apply to BioPower. |

Most changes have already been added into WIS, STM and MP, but will be added into edition 2008-1 at the latest.
