Be very thorough in terms of cleanliness when working in the fuel system. Malfunctions can also occur due to very small dirt particles. Prevent dirt from entering the fuel system by cleaning the hoses and plugging the pipes and lines upon removal using 93 161 370 Plug set. Store the components so that contaminants cannot enter. |

Drain the filter housing. Undo the drain screw (A).

2. |
Detach the connector for the heating element (B) and the water level sensor (C).
|
3. |
Remove the fuel pipes' quick couplings (A) and plug them. Use
83 95 261 Fuel line tool.

Remove the bolts for the holder (B).
|
To fit |
1. |
Position the fuel filter housing and fit the holder's bolts (B).
|
2. |
Fit the fuel pipes' quick couplings (A).
|
3. |
Plug in the connector for the heating element (B) and the water level sensor (C).
|
4. |
Connect an exhaust extractor hose and start the engine to check everything runs correctly.
