Amplifier (354S), 5D, Prestige 300

To remove


1. Carry out actions before removing control module .

2. Raise the luggage compartment floor.

3. Lift out the lower floor.

4. Undo the bass speaker bolts and pivot it upwards.

5. Remove Scuff plate, luggage compartment, 5D .

6. Remove the right side piece of the floor (A).


7. Remove the clip (B) of the foam block.

8. Remove the lashing eye and its cover (C).

9. Lift out the foam block slightly (A).

Note

Raise the right side trim slightly to make it easier to lift out the foam block.



10. Lift out the right rear side piece to make it possible to access the amplifier.

11. Unplug the connectors (B) from the amplifier.

Important

Take care when releasing the locking mechanism on the connector so as not to damage the connector. Pull the halves straight apart to avoid bending the pins. For further information regarding connectors, refer to Connectors, handling and inspection .


12. Remove the amplifier bolt (C) and lift out the amplifier.

13. Remove the bracket (A) from the amplifier.



To fit


1. Fit the bracket (A) to the amplifier.


2. Fit the amplifier to the body, checking that the guides (A) end up in the right position.


3. Fit the bolt (C) to the amplifier.


4. Plug the connectors (B) into the amplifier.

Important

Take care when plugging in the connector so as not to damage or press out the pins/sleeves in the connector. For further information regarding connectors, refer to Connectors, handling and inspection .


5. Fit the right rear side piece, checking that the foam block (A) ends up in the right position.

6. Fit the clip (B) to the foam block.


7. Fit the lashing eye and cover (C).

8. Fit the right side piece of the floor (A).

9. Fit Scuff plate, luggage compartment, 5D .

10. Reposition the bass speaker and fit the bolts.

11. Lower the luggage compartment floor.

12. Carry out Procedure after control module replacement .

13. Check the function.
