Remove the front side panel from the appropriate side of the floor console.

Remove the rear cover from the floor console.
|
|
| 3. |
Remove the rear side panel from the appropriate side of the floor console.
|
|
| 4. |
Release the handbrake and remove the cable from the mechanism.
|
|
| 5. |
Remove the rear seat seat cushion
.
|
|
| 6. |
Fold back the carpeting and remove the cable from the mounting in the floor.
|
|
| 7. |
Raise the car.
|
|
| 8. |
Remove the cable from the lever on the wheel cylinders and from the brackets.
Right-hand side: Remove the wiring harness.

| 9. |
Remove the rubber grommet and pull out the cable.
|
|
| To fit |
| 1. |
Thread through the cable and fit it to the brackets under the car.
Right-hand side: Fit the wiring harness.
|
|
| 2. |
Fit the rubber grommet.
|
|
| 3. |
Fit the cable to the wheel cylinder.
|
|
| 4. |
Lower the car.
|
|
| 5. |
Fit the cable to the bracket on the floor.
|
|
| 6. |
Fit the cable to the lever mechanism.
|
|
| 7. |
Put the floor carpet in place.
|
|
| 8. |
Fit the rear seat seat cushion
.

|
| 9. |
Apply the handbrake to tension the cable.
Release the handbrake. |

| 10. |
Raise the car.
|
|
| 11. |
Check and adjust the handbrake cable
.

|
| 12. |
Fit the rear side panel to the floor console.
|
|
| 13. |
Fit the rear cover to the floor console.
|
|
| 14. |
Fit the front side panel to the floor console.
