To remove |

Raise the car.

Remove the wheel.
|
3. |
Remove the wiring harness (A) for the wheel sensor from the longitudinal link.
|
4. |
Remove the parking brake cable from the holder (B) on the longitudinal link.
|
5. |
Remove the front mounting (C) of the longitudinal link and detach the parking brake cable holder (D) from the mounting.
|
6. |
Use a jack to raise the lower link arm slightly to relieve the load on the shock absorber. Remove the lower bolt of the shock absorber (A).

7. |
Remove the bolts (B) holding the longitudinal link to the steering swivel member. At the same time, detach the holder for the wheel sensor connector housing (C).

8. |
Lower the longitudinal link.
|
9. |
Remove the bracket from the link.

To fit |
1. |
Clamp the bracket in a vice. Fit the longitudinal link and tighten the bolt and nut so that turning the link is slow.
|
3. |
Lift the longitudinal link into place.
|
5. |
Tighten the bolts (B) which hold the longitudinal link to the steering swivel member.
Tightening torque 150 Nm (110 lbf ft) |
6. |
Fit the shock absorber lower bracket (A). Remove the pillar jack.
Tightening torque 148 Nm +90° (109 lbf ft +90°)

7. |
Fit the longitudinal link front mounting (C) to the holder (D) for the parking brake cable.
Tightening torque 90 Nm +90° (52 lbf ft +90°) |
8. |
Fit the parking brake cable in the holder (B).
|
9. |
Fit the wiring harness (A) for the wheel sensor to the longitudinal link.
|
