Heating pad in backrest, CV

To remove


1. Retract the soft top.

2. Remove the head restraint sleeves.

3. Fold down the backrest.

4. Remove the backrest cover.

5. Remove the rear lower cover.

6. Unplug the heating pad connector.


7. Cut the cable ties securing the straps on the reverse of the upholstery.


8. Remove the trim strips.

9. Remove the backrest upholstery and foam cushion from the frame.

10. Remove the staples from the upholstery. Remove the upholstery.


11. Carefully pull the heating pad off the foam cushion.

Note

The heating pad is adhered to the foam cushion. Take care not to damage the cushion.



To fit


1. Remove the protective backing from the self-adhesive areas of the heating pad.


2. Position the pad and carefully press it onto the cushion. Start at the top and make sure that no folds form in the heating pad.


3. Fit the backrest upholstery to the foam cushion with the staples.


4. Fit the upholstery and cushion to the backrest frame. Fit the upholstery strips.


5. Fit the spring mat with cable ties.

6. Position the wiring and plug in the connector.


7. Fit the lower rear cover.

8. Fit the backrest cover.

9. Fold back the backrest.

10. Fit the head restraint sleeves and head restraint.

11. Close the soft top.
