Important
|
As the crankcase ventilation hose always breaks when removed from the valve cover, it is always important to remember this when replacing the turbocharger and removing the valve cover for example.
|
|
Remove the engine cover
|
2.
|
Remove the turbocharger delivery pipe (E).
|
3.
|
Remove the intake hose between the turbo and the air filter box.
Important
|
Do not damage the camshaft cover and holder for the positive crankcase ventilation for the turbocharger.
|
|
|
4.
|
Remove the crankcase ventilation hose’s (B) mounting (D) to the turbo.
|
5.
|
Remove the crankcase ventilation hose’s (B) mounting (A) to the camshaft cover using a screwdriver.
|
1.
|
Fit the crankcase ventilation hose’s (B) mounting (D) with a new gasket to the turbo.
Tightening torque 10 Nm (7 lbf ft)
|
2.
|
Fit the crankcase ventilation hose’s (B) mounting (A) to the camshaft cover.
|
3.
|
Fit the intake hose between the turbo and the air filter box.
|
4.
|
Fit the turbocharger delivery pipe (E).
Tightening torque 22 Nm (16 lbf ft)
