Solenoid valve, camshaft exhaust

/ 9-3 (9440) / 2012 / 2. Engine / 4-cyl petrol/E85 / Basic engine / Adjustment/replacement / Solenoid valve, camshaft exhaust

To remove

1.	Remove the battery cover.

2.	Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3.	Remove the upper engine cover.

4.	Unplug the connector (A).

5.	Remove the solenoid valve screw (B).

6.	Remove solenoid valve (C).

To fit

1.	Fit solenoid valve (C).

2.	Fit the solenoid valve screw (B). Tightening torque 10 Nm (7 lbf ft)

3.	Plug in the connector (A).

4.	Replace the upper engine cover.

5.	Reconnect the negative battery cable.

6.	Fit the battery cover.

7.	Restore the car, see Procedures after reconnecting the battery .
