Remove the accessory drive belts.

2.

Turn the crankshaft manually while positioning the balancer shaft or flywheel.

Hydraulically locked cylinder

Coolant/antifreeze in the cylinder

Remove the spark plugs and check for fluid.

Check if the cylinder head gasket is damaged.
