Fan cowling, A20NFT/LHU

To remove


1. Remove the battery cover (A).


2. Remove the holder (C) for the ECM from the radiator member and move to one side.

3. Remove the connection (B) to the radiator member.

4. Raise the car.

5. Remove the spoiler shield screws on the inside. See Spoiler shield, front .

6. Pull the spoiler shield back and undo the

7. Divide the connector and remove the connector, and also undo the washer hose.

8. Undo the air shield on the left side at the radiator from its mountings (G).

9. Undo the bracket (F) to the lower turbo hose from the fan cowling (E).

10. Lower the car.

11. Undo two screws in the top edge of the fan cowling (E).

12. Undo the hose (D) between the expansion tank and the cooler (hose pliers and plug).

13. Lift the fan cowling (E) up and out of the engine bay.


To fit


1. Position the fan cowling (E).


2. Fit two screws at the top edge of the fan cowling (E).

3. Fit the connector for the radiator fan (B).

4. Fit the hose (D) between the expansion tank and the cooler.

5. Fit the holder (C) for the ECM to the radiator member.

Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 lbf ft)

6. Raise the car

7. Fit the lower bracket (F) turbo hose to the fan cowling (E).

8. Fit the air shield on the left side at the radiator to its mountings (G).

9. Position the spoiler shield and fit the screws. See Spoiler shield, front .

10. Fit the bumper connector to the holder, connect the connector and the washer hose.

11. Lower the car.

12. Fit the battery cover (A).
