Preheated oxygen sensor, upper (592), A20NFT/LHU

Warning

The exhaust pipe from the turbocharger can be extremely hot. Proceed with caution.


To remove


1. Unplug the connector (A) for the oxygen sensor (B) and carefully lower the cable.


2. Remove the oxygen sensor (B).


To fit


1. Lubricate the threads sparingly with 30 20 971 Screw-thread paste and fit the oxygen sensor (B).

Tightening torque 42 Nm (31 lbf ft)


2. Lift up the oxygen sensor cable (B). Make sure it does not get pinched or is exposed to chafing.

3. Plug in the oxygen sensor connector and secure it (A).
