Clean the cut to remove burrs and dirt.
|
2.
|
Grind rust off the silencer pipes using an emery cloth.
|
3.
|
Fit the central rear silencer to the rear catalytic converter (A) and fit the bracket (B).

|
Fit the rear silencers with the jointing clamps (A) (use mounting paste) (turn the clamp openings to the front and the nuts down) and new rubber mountings (B).

5.
|
Fit the anti-roll bar.
Tightening torque 30 Nm (23 lbf ft)

|
Adjust the central and rear silencers so that that they are suspended neutrally. The central silencer must hang parallel to the anti-roll bar.

7.
|
If the tail pipes are visible:
Check that the tail pipes are in the centre of the recess in the bumper and that they are connected to the bumper profile.

8.
|
Tighten the nuts on the clamps.
Tightening torque 40 Nm (30 lbf ft).
|
9.
|
Tighten the clamp between the rear catalytic converter and the exhaust system.
Tightening torque 40 Nm (30 lbf ft).

11.
|
Connect an exhaust hose and start the engine. Check the exhaust system for leaks.
