Charge air cooler, Z19DTR

To remove


1. Remove the Upper radiator member .

2. Remove the upper radiator cover (A).


3. Remove the upper bolts of the charge air cooler (B).

4. Slacken the condenser bolts (A). Place on radiator member and suspend the condenser using a 83 95 212 Strap (B).


5. Raise the car.

6. Remove the side covers (A).


7. Undo the hose clips (B) and remove the hoses (C).


8. Remove the charge air cooler by carefully pulling it downwards.


To fit


1. Transfer the rubber guard to the new charge air cooler.

2. Position the charge air cooler. Make sure that the cooler and the condenser go into their lower mountings.

3. Fit the hoses (C) to the charge air cooler and tighten the hose clips (B).

4. Fit the side covers (A).


5. Lower the car.

6. Undo the strap (B) from the condenser and lift aside the radiator member.


7. Fit the condenser bolts (A).

8. Fit the bolts (B) on the charge air cooler.


9. Fit the upper radiator cover (A).

10. Lower the car.

11. Fit the Upper radiator member .
