To remove

When removing the headlamp frame, it will be necessary to also remove the bumper member with integrated collision box.


1. Drill out the two upper spot welds.


2. Unscrew the 2 upper bolts.

3. Drill out the spot welds to the wheel housing and side member.

4. Knock loose the headlamp frame and pull it up from the collision box.


To fit

Align the surfaces where the spare part is being fitted. Apply welding primer to the places to be welded and rustproof the drilled surfaces.


1. Put in place the headlamp frame between the collision box and the member. Position the frame to the wheel housing and collision box.

2. Plug or spot weld as illustrated. The welds on the collision box joint need not be restored as they are only for production purposes.


3. Grind the welds.

4. Fit the bolts.

5. Wash away surplus welding primer. Welding primer reduces the adhesion of paint, filler and sealant.

6. Apply primer to all bare metal surfaces.

7. Apply rust protector after painting. Use Terotex HV 400.
