| Removing | 
This method concerns the right-hand side but the left-hand side can be done in a corresponding manner.
| 1. | 
        Remove the
        
         Rear bumper abutment, CV

| 2. | 
        Cut the floor as indicated by the marks. Cut on the inside the member. The cut must be made so that the replacement piece overlaps by approximately 20 mm.
         
        
         |

| 3. | 
        Drill out the spot-welds.
         | 
      |
| 4. | 
        Tap out the rear floor and align any damaged sheet metal or panels.
         | 
      |
| Fitting | 
| 1. | 
        Cut the replacement piece as illustrated. The cut must be made so that the replacement piece overlaps by approximately 20 mm.
         
        
         | 
      |
| 2. | 
        Drill for plug welding of the replacement piece.
         | 
      |
| 3. | 
        Grind all the surfaces that are to be welded.
         | 
      |
| 4. | 
        Apply welding primer to the surfaces to be plug or spot welded.
         | 
      |
| 5. | 
        Position and align the floor.
         | 
      |
| 6. | 
        Weld the floor in place.
         
        
         | 
      |
| 7. | 
        Smooth off the welds.
         | 
      |
| 8. | 
        Remove any remaining welding primer. Welding primer reduces adhesion of paint, filler and sealant.
         | 
      |
| 9. | 
        Apply primer to all bare metal surfaces.
         | 
      |
| 10. | 
        Fit the
        
         Rear bumper abutment, CV

         | 
      |
| 11. | 
        Seal joints and seams with sealant.
         | 
      |
| 12. | 
        Apply PVC substitute on the underside of the floor.
         | 
      |
| 13. | 
        Apply a thin anti-corrosion agent to the members and cavities after painting.
         |
