Base solid colour with clear enamel
All solid colours have now been changed over to base solid with clear enamel. The risk of mixing up these colour systems when repainting is great.Cars with base solid colour are marked with the text BASE SOLID on the label for colour codes and tyre pressure. This label is located on the inside of the glove compartment.
Ordinary single layer solid paint with clear enamel is not quality approved by Saab Automobile AB.
Spray and enamel applicators can be used as usual for smaller repairs.
Metallic colours are not affected.
