4. Grind away any metal strips remaining on the rear edge of the door.

5. Align and grind the door frame edges.

To fit

1. Apply sealant to the impact member and the upper door edge. Use Terostat 1K-PUR.

2. Apply adhesive to the rear and lower edge of the door frame. Use Teromix 6700.

3. Apply welding primer to the front edge of the door frame. Use Teroson Zink spray

4. Align the new outer door panel. Check that the metal flanges lie against the door frame. Secure with clamps.

5. Spot weld the front edge of the outer door panel.

6. Tap in the metal flange in the rear and lower edges of the door with a hammer and support. Do not use pliers as they may damage the outside of the door.

7. Fit the door and check the alignment. Adjust if necessary. Lift off the door.

8. Seam weld the inside of the metal flange along the rear and lower edges of the door.

9. Wash off surplus welding primer. Welding primer makes for poorer adhesion of paint, filler and sealant.

11. Use Terostat 1K-PUR to seal joints and metal folds.

12. Apply anti-corrosion treatment after painting.
