On-board diagnosis
Type of diagnosis:
Enable criteria:
Car speed over 10 km/hr for more than 5 s. |
Fault criteria:
Voltage on control module input is continually outside limit value. |
System reaction to a fault:
Headlamp beam adjustment is switched off. |
Headlamp reflectors adjusted to a lower position. |
Checking the wiring harness
Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force.
Diagnostic help
Before fault diagnosis begins, read the document "Safety and handling directions, xenon lights" under Technical description.
DTC can be generated if any of the height sensors are incorrectly fitted.
Height sensor lower limit value is 205 steps and upper limit value is 3890 steps.
