Cannot turn key.

Engine does not start.

Steering column lock not working.

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:

Continuous

Enable criteria:

Diagnosis is carried out before the control module goes into standby.

Diagnosis takes 8 minutes.

Fault criteria:

Control module on-board diagnostics has detected a RAM error.

System reaction to a fault:

Steering column lock deactivated.

The control module does not allow starter motor cranking.
