On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:

Continuous

Enable criteria:

Ignition ON.

The diagnostic runs when another DTC is detected in the CIM.

Fault criteria:

The control module voltage supply is below 7.5 V at the same time as another DTC is detected in the CIM.

System reaction to a fault:

None

Checking the wiring harness

Jiggle the wiring harness at several points to detect intermittent breaks or short circuits. Check also the connector for oxidation or loose pins.
