Type of diagnosis:
Enable criteria:
| The following diagnostic trouble codes may not be generated: |
| No fault on the camshaft position sensor or solenoid and no chain fault. |
| Begärt kamaxelläge ändras inte mer än 3 grader under 3 - 20s beroende på kylvätsketemperatur. |
| Current and requested cam angle between 5-25 degrees. |
Fault criteria:
| The difference between the requested and current cam angle exceeds 8 degrees for more than 10 seconds. |
Diagnostic help
Diagnosis regards:
| Correct oil pressure is a prerequisite in order for the cam phasing mechanism to work. Incorrect viscosity or air due to low levels can generate a DTC. |

| • | Deviation from Requested Intake Cam Angle Bank 1 |
