P2227, P2228, P2229, P2230

Fault criteria:

Test 1
Absolute pressure sensor value differs more than 15 kPa from atmospheric pressure sensor and charge air absolute pressure sensor.
Test 2
Absolute pressure sensor value is below 50 kPa.
Or
Absolute pressure sensor value exceeds 105 kPa.

Dependent:

None

System reaction to a fault:

Cruise control blocked.

Fault handling:

Type III

Diagnostic help

Diagnosis regards:

Electrical fault in the component.
A leak anywhere in intake system and vacuum system can generate the DTC.
The signal is compared with the other pressure sensors when the ignition is on and the engine not started. The value must be close to the other values.

Functions in the diagnostic tool related to the fault:

Test value:
Charge Air Absolute Pressure
Manifold Absolute Pressure
Atmospheric Pressure
