Enable criteria:

NONE of the following DTCs must be detected:

P0121, P0122, P0123

P0222, P0223

P2101

P2102

P2135

Coolant temperature lower than 65°C (149°F).

Vehicle speed over 8 km/h for more than 1500 m

Coolant temperature lower than 65°C (149°F).

No block heater start detected.

The ethanol content is lower than 87%.

Test 1

Intake air temperature lower than 10°C.

Test 2

Intake air temperature higher than 10°C.

Fault criteria:

Test 1

The maximum amount of cumulative air mass reached.

and

The cooling water temperature is lower than 70°C.

Test 2

The maximum amount of cumulative air mass reached.

and

The cooling water temperature is lower than 80°C.

OK report:

Fault criteria NOT fulfilled.

Type III
