On-board diagnosis
Type of diagnosis:
Enable criteria:
The following diagnostic trouble codes may not be generated: |
P0201, P0202, P0203, P0204 |
P0261, P0262, P0264, P0265, P0267, P0268, P0270, P0271 |
P0442, P0443, P0446, P0449, P0452, P0453, P0455, |

P2147, P2148, P2150, P2151, P2153, P2154, P2156, P2157 |
Battery voltage must be between 11 - 16 V. |
EVAP, leak diagnosis not active, if OBDII. |
Lambda control active for more then 5 s. |
The ethanol content is lower than 87%. |
Fault criteria:
When voltage across the sensor is less than 50 mV for 50 s. |
Dependent:
System reaction to a fault:
Fault handling:
(See section Fault handling III, "Other emission-related components and functions" for more information.) |
Checking the wiring harness
Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force.
