Fault symptom

Malfunction Indicator Lamp

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:

Continuous

Enable criteria:

Engine running.
Engine speed between 1600 and 6000 rpm.
Charge Air Control
Requested boost pressure between 140-300 kPa.
Atmospheric pressure between 60 and 120 kPa.
"Limp home" function not active.
The following diagnostic trouble codes may not be generated:
P0010, P0011, P0013, P0014
P0033, P0034, P0035
P0111, P0112, P0113, P0114
P0116, P0117, P0118, P0119
P0236, P0237, P0238
P0243, P0245, P0246

Fault criteria:

Current boost pressure exceeds requested boost pressure for more than 1,5 s.

OK report:

Drive the car in 3rd gear, even acceleration at 1900 rpm. Then full gas acceleration (pedal not depressed 100%) up to 5000 rpm.
