On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:

Continuous

Enable criteria:

Ignition ON.

Battery voltage greater than 11 V.

Engine speed more than 50 rpm.

Fault criteria:

When the amperage exceeds 11A or falls below 0.1A.

Fault handling:

Type III

Checking the wiring harness

Jiggle the wiring harness at several points to detect intermittent breaks or short circuits. Check also the connector for oxidation or loose pins.
