On-board diagnosis

Enable criteria:

Ignition ON.

Solenoid valve not activated

Fault criteria:

No voltage on control module output for more than 0.5 s.

System reaction to a fault:

Control module output switched off.

Checking the wiring harness

Jiggle the wiring harness at several points to detect intermittent breaks or short circuits. Check also the connector for oxidation or loose pins.
