Fault symptom

Malfunction Indicator Lamp

On-board diagnosis

Type of diagnosis:

Continuous

Enable criteria:

Engine running more than 10 seconds.

Engine speed over 1520 rpm.

No fault:

•	Mass Air Flow Sensor

•	Throttle motor

•	Throttle potentiometer

•	Charge air pressure sensor

Fault criteria:

Air leak before throttle. Leak detected through a calculation model based on air mass, pressure, throttle position and engine speed.
