| Removal Procedure |
| 1. |
Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation hose. Refer to
Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube Replacement - Dipstick to Air Outlet Duct
.

| 2. |
Remove the oil level indicator tube bracket bolt (1).
|
|
| 3. |
Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield. Refer to
Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement - Left Side (LAU)
.

| 4. |
Remove the oil level indicator and tube (2) from the lower crankcase.
|
|
| 5. |
Remove the O-ring from the oil level indicator tube (2).
|
|
| Installation Procedure |
| 1. |
Install the NEW O-ring (1) on the oil level indicator tube (2).
|
|
| 2. |
Install the oil level indicator and tube (2).
|
|
| 3. |
Install the exhaust manifold heat shield. Refer to
Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement - Left Side (LAU)
.

| 4. |
Refer to
Fastener Caution
Install the oil level indicator tube bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in) . |

Install the positive crankcase ventilation hose. Refer to
Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube Replacement - Dipstick to Air Outlet Duct
